— NEW FACES

n Dr. Rabee Kiwan has joined the medical staff at Martin's Point Health Care as an internist at the Portland Health Care Center on Veranda Street.

Kiwan previously worked in the Internal Medicine Practice at Down East Community Hospital in Machias.

n Kim M. Goding has joined Weatherization Wizards Inc. as office manager.

Goding previously was marketing and outreach coordinator for SeniorsPlus and scheduler for Gov. John Baldacci.

n Michael McAllister of China has been hired as an associate weatherization technician at Weatherization Wizards Inc.

McAllister was previously a carpenter at PR Construction.

PROMOTIONS

n Eric P. Goding of Lewiston and J. Scott Wetherell of Buckfield have been promoted to weatherization technicians at Weatherization Wizards.

Previously, Goding owned his own construction company and was a draftsperson for KBS Home Builders in Oxford.

Wetherell worked as a carpenter for Corb Construction.

GENERAL

n Scott Anchors, a faculty member at the Maine Business School, has been selected to receive the Gordon Lawrence Educational Achievement Award from the Association of Psychological Type International.

Anchors is a lecturer in management at the University of Maine.

n WinterKids in Portland has elected the following individuals to its board of directors: Alexa Dayton, director of communications and development at Maine Huts & Trails in Kingfield; Andy Hamblett, executive director of the Boothbay Region YMCA in Boothbay Harbor; Eric Kolben, financial adviser at UBS in Portland; and Michael Peisner, attorney at Curtis Thaxter Stevens Broder & Micoleau LLC in Portland.

n The Portland Museum of Art has elected the following individuals to its board of trustees:

The members are Linda L. Baker, museum docent president; Selma Botman, president of the University of Southern Maine; and Earle G. Shettleworth Jr., director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission.

The following officers have been elected:

James L. Moody Jr., retired chairman of Hannaford Bros. Co., was elected president; Hans Underdahl, senior vice president, RBC Wealth Management, was elected chairman; Beth L. De Tine, interior designer for Beth Laurie Interiors was elected first vice president.

John F. Isacke, vice president for administration and CFO of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network, was elected vice president for finance and treasurer; Robert S. Nanovic, former partner of Wilkens & Nanovic Investment Associates, was elected assistant treasurer; Leonard M. Nelson, partner of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, was elected secretary.

n Worksite Stars of York County, a wellness program of Goodall Hospital, has been named community program of the year by the Governor's Council on Physical Activity.

The Worksite Stars of York County program was one of only two selected for top honors and was given a check for $250.00.

n The Maine College of Art has appointed the following new members to its board of trustees:

Judith A. Kane of Falmouth is a card designer; Margaret Minister O'Keefe of Cumberland serves as general counsel and chief licensing officer for Angela Adams Designs LLC.

Jacelyn Ouellette of South Portland is a multimedia artist who earned her bachelor of fine arts degree, with honors, from MECA in 2002; Claudia C. Pachios of Cape Elizabeth has been an accountant and a community volunteer. She helped to establish The AIDS Project.
