Portland Pirates Today

— After earning seven out of a possible 10 points while playing their last five games on the road, the Pirates will play seven of their next eight games at home over the next three weeks. Mark Mancari, a veteran right wing who leads the team with 17 goals, has a goal in each of the past five games. Center Tyler Ennis, among the AHL's top scoring rookies, has a team-high 26 assists. Defenseman Mike Weber leads the squad with a plus-19 rating. While starting in 11 of the last 13 games, Jhonas Enroth has compiled a 1.81 goals-against average and two of his three shutouts.

WHO: Lowell Devils at Pirates

WHERE: Cumberland County Civic Center

NOTES: Rookie defenseman Matt Taormina has a team-high 18 assists and a four-game points streak. Rookie right wing Nick Palmieri has a team-high 14 goals, and center Ben Walker is the team's leading scorer with 12 goals and 17 assists. Left wing Louis Robitaille, a former Pirate, has 169 penalty minutes, the second-highest total in the AHL. The Pirates have won two of the first three games between the teams this season, including a 4-3 win in overtime at the Civic Center on Oct. 30.
