NOTES: An affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, the Monarchs have earned at least a point in seven of their last 10 games to remain on top of the Atlantic Division. Jonathan Bernier, a former Lewiston Maineiac who has started 35 of 47 games, ranks fourth in the AHL in goals-against average (2.01) and second in save percentage (.939). Rookie forward Corey Elkins leads the Monarchs in scoring with 15 goals and 18 assists. Forward Marc-Andre Cliche, another former Maineiac, has eight goals and 10 assists. In four previous games against Manchester, Portland is 2-1-1.
