The Portland Green Independent Committee will caucus Thursday to pick a new candidate for the District 120 seat.
Keita A. Whitten recently withdrew from the race against incumbent Rep. Diane Russell, D-Portland, and Republican challenger Davian Akers. District 120 includes the eastern section of the city, including Munjoy Hill.
Tom Kelley, a University of Southern Maine graduate, is seeking the nomination.
The Greens caucus begins at 6:30 p.m. at 102 Morning St.
