With the Boston Celtics looking shorthanded, they have recalled forward Kris Joseph from the Maine red Claws, in time for their home game tonight against the Trail Blazers.

The Red Claws are also playing tonight, with their home opener set for 7 p.m. against the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Maine still has one Celtics player on the roster - center Fab Melo.

Boston needed help with forwards Jeff Green (sprained knee) and Chris Wilcox( ill) questionable.
