Squirrels are known thieves.
They grab bulbs out of plant pots under cover of darkness and leave home owners wondering why what should have been a beautiful dwarf sunflower never even sprouted. They steal seeds, shell them behind closed doors and leave the mess for the next person to open the shed door to clean up.
And, apparently, in Portland squirrels are also confiscators of underpants.

If you're looking for something fun - and a little bit different - to add into your Sunday, check out Mayo Street Arts' latest puppet theater adventure, "Squirrel Stole My Underpants." It's on stage at 2 p.m. and tickets are $$ for kids, $8 for adults.
Puppeteer Bonnie Duncan stars along with Squirrel in this first performance of a two-month puppet theater festival hosted by Mayo Street.
For those who want to know what this Squirrel guy is all about, here's the quick synopsis:
Sylvie hangs laundry in the back yard. Sylvie turns her back. Squirrel makes off with her fave undergarments. Cue the chaos and laughs.
