Fore River Gallery was opened in 2009 by married couple Liz and Mike M. Marks. Last November the venue morphed into a co-op when Elizabeth Prior and T.J. McDermott came on board. Fore River also moved into the Old Port bringing its fun sculptures and designs (along with plenty of other artistic endeavors) to Market Street.
Passers-by currently strolling along Market can get a taste or life just a little way down Route 1 at Scarborough Marsh thanks to the gracefully created herons positioned front and center in Fore River's windows.

If you're out enjoying the warmer weather that's moved into Portland this week stroll on by and catch the whimsy of Fore River's wildlife.
