This isn't meant to condone vandalism ... and many people consider graffiti, in all of its forms, to be vandalism ... but you may have recently noticed a humorous "Toy Story" reference added to Portland Bayside Trail marker.

Someone with a can of paint sprayed the name ANDY on the bottom of the large colorful sneaker that marks the start of the trail.

Anyone who has children or who is familiar with the Pixar movie will get the reference: Andy, the owner of all the toys that come to life in the movie, painted his name on Woody's right boot to make sure everyone knew who the cowboy belonged to.

The only thing this "artist" missed was that ANDY wrote the N backwards. Still ... close enough to get a chuckle out of a few Preble Street commuters.
