Rainy weather couldn't keep the crowds away from York Hospital's sold-out In the Pink: Food, Fun & Fashion Fling. More than 600 guests filled the Ogunquit Playhouse Tuesday night in support of the hospital's Breast Cancer Living Well Fund, which provides holistic support services to breast cancer patients. In the snapshot above, breast cancer survivors receive a standing ovation from the crowd.
The party began under a tent on the theater's lawn, where hay protected our shoes from the rain-induced mud. Champagne and finger foods from more than 30 restaurants and caterers kept us in good spirits as we perused in excess of 150 silent auction items.
Next, we all proceeded inside the theater, where WCVB-TV Boston news anchor Randy Price served as master of ceremonies and Joe Shanley auctioned off 10 live auction items.
Once the auction concluded, the house lights darkened and a thumping beat filled the air. Everyone began to clamp. It was time for the fashion show.
Here are some of the looks spotted on tonight's catwalk.
