More than 300 women packed the ballroom at The Woodlands club today for the Purses with Purpose auction and luncheon. The annual event combines shopping for handbags with the very worthy work of supporting the Ronald McDonald House.
Among the fashionable ladies in attendance were these good-looking women, who modeled in the fashion show. They're wearing this season's hottest looks from a number of retailers, including Simply You and the L.L. Bean Signature line.
The event, now in its fifth year, has garnered a big following. This is easy to understand when you know the highlight of the party is the silent auction of handbags.
I'm sure it won't surprise you to hear there wasn't one guy in the crowd.
Want to know more about who was there and what they had to say? Then be sure to check out this weekend's Maine Sunday Telegram, where I'll have all the details.
Until then, I hope to see you out and about.
