Offensive tackle Josh Spearin of Limington (and Bonny Eagle High) and defensive lineman Raibonne Charles of Windham were named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association football team.
Spearin, a junior, made the second team, while Charles, a senior, was on the third. Charles was profiled in a Press Herald column on Monday.
The chosen Maine players:
First team: Maurice McDonald, WR (McDonald is out for the year with a broken foot suffered in the ninth game); Chris Howley, G; Trevor Coston, punt returner (Coston was also a second-team safety); and Jerron McMillian, S.
Second team: Warren Smith, QB; Justin Perillo, TE; Spearin; Michael Cole, DL; Vinson Givans, LB; Coston.
Third team: Pushaun Brown, RB; Charles; Kendall James, CB.
