The University of Maine football team released its 2012 scheduled today and right at the top is a game at Boston College.

Maine annually plays a FBS team (the old Division I) and played at Pittsburgh last year. The Black Bears last played at BC in 2006, losing 22-0.

Here is the Maine schedule:

Sept. 8: at Boston College

Sept. 15: at Bryant College

Sept. 22: Albany

Sept. 29: Villanova

Oct. 6: at Delaware

Oct. 13: at Towson

Oct. 20 New Hampshire (Homecoming)

Oct. 27: at William & Mary

Nov. 3: James Madison

Nov. 10: Georgia State

Nov. 17: at Rhode Island
