Portland musician Zach Jones will be at the Portland Bull Moose Music (151 Middle St.) on Friday, June 1st at 5:30 p.m. for an acoustic in-store performance.
Jones is set to release his new "throw back soul album" called "Things Were Better" and its the follow-up to last year's "Broken Record."
Mr. Jones was the lead guitarist and back-up vocalist for Maine band As Fast As and he's performed on stages from sea to shinging sea with that band and as a solo artist.
Check him out at zachjonestunes.com and head to Bull Moose on June 2 to hear him play live and to pick up a copy of "Things Were Better."
Aimsel Ponti has been obsessed with - and inspired by- music since she listened to Monkees records borrowed from the town library when she was six years old. She's a huge fan of the local music scene and interviews an act every week for "Making Noise" which runs in the Press Herald GO section. You'll also find her out and about absorbing live music like a sponge and roaming around local record shops and flea markets.
