Republican Dean Scontras, who lost a bid last fall against Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-1st, says he is enjoying life in northern Virgnia outside Washington and his job as a regional sales manager for Brocade, a network solutions technology company.
Scontras, who moved to Northern Virginia from Eliot, has been on the job for Brocade for about a month. He said today in a phone interview that he considers his run against Pingree a "great experience...(but) I don't think I am going to run again."
Still, Scontras said he intends to remain involved in politics.
