Browne Trading Co. often has small wine tastings on Thursday nights, but tonight's tasting is special.
Browne will be featuring the wines of Michael Terrien, a Portland native whose wines are now getting critical acclaim and are being sold in such venues as The French Laundry, Per Se and Eleven Madison Park. I will be interviewing Terrien for a story that will appear in June, but meanwhile, this is your chance to meet him in person and hear him talk about his wines.
Browne will be featuring five Terrien wines, including the chardonnay that Food & Wine's Ray Isle chose as one of his favorite bottles last year.
This free tasting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 775-7560.
