Portland-based Cajun spice maker Crazy Dick's is serving up a spicy new organic offering just in time for the winter holidays.
Crazy Dick's Hot and Smokey Cajun Trail Mixes feature organic raisins, peanuts, cashews and sunflower seeds dusted with either Hot Cajun Seasoning or Smokey Cajun Seasoning. The organic spice blends are mixed in small batches and contain no salt, MSG, preservatives or anti-caking agents.
Packed in glass canning jars, the trail mixes come in .6 pound and 1.5 pound sizes and sell for $8 and $15, respectively.
You can find Crazy Dick's products at local markets and health food stores, online and at the upcoming Funky & Fabulous show at Fraser Art Studio on Munjoy Hill.
