Calling all chefs! Have you always dreamed of opening a restaurant? This was the tantalizing introduction to a press release promoting a casting call for celebrity chef Robert Irvine's new show on Food Network show.
Are you an amazing sous chef ready to take your skills to the next level? Do you have a concept for a restaurant that you've been dying to get off the ground? Are finances the only thing standing between you and your dream? Can you prevail in this competition filled with challenges that test your skill, speed and determination? This is your chance to show off your culinary talent to foodies from around the world and jet setting celebrities. If you win, you earn the prize of all prizes a HOT new restaurant, showcased in a premiere dining destination!
In all that enthusiastic pitching, there was no mention of the show's title, but given that it's from the producers of The Great Food Truck Race, I'm guessing it's this one, from a recent preview of upcoming food and cooking shows on Eater:
"Restaurant Express: Robert Irvine puts eight restaurateurs on a bus, and tests their business skills. The contestant left on the bus at the end gets their own restaurant to run. (Series Premiere: November 2013)"
Interested Maine chefs can email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, photo, description of your culinary background and why you think you have what it takes to win.Tweet
