Craving crawfish? Well get on over to Po' Boys & Pickles, 1124 Forest Ave., from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 for the second annual Parking Lot Crawfish Boil. Owner Peter Zinn says he has at least 120 pounds of the mud bugs coming up from Louisiana, "maybe more if the weather looks good."
Zinn has once again enlisted the smiling guy above, "expert crawfish cooker" and Portland resident Jim Parsons, to be the Boil Master. A three-piece band will play New Orleans funk; there will also be chocolate bread pudding and plenty of cold Shipyard Export and Summer Ale on tap.
This was a sell-out last year, so go early. For more information, call Po' Boys & Pickles at 518-9735.
