The Brunswick-based gelato company, Gelato Fiasco, has introduced a redesign of its pint packaging simultaneously with three new flavors.
- Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp gelato is inspired by an old Maine cookbook recipe from co-founder Joshua Davis' youth. It includes wild blueberries from Down East Maine and crunchy oat strusel baked at company headquarters in Brunswick.
- Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt gelato is a new version of the popular Gelato Fiasco flavor, Caramel Sea Salt.
- Torched Marshmallow S'More Gelato is graham cracker gelato with pieces of chocolate bar and housemade marshmallows.
The flavors sold in pints are now made with milk and cream from Maine's Own Organic, a cooperative of Maine family farms. The pint containers, which are recyclable, are also designed to encourage reuse.
