If you happen to be out and about in the Old Port - in between the raindrops - swing in to Pinecone + Chickadee at 6 Free St. and check out the art work hanging on many of the walls.
The "Monsters" show opened for First Friday Art Walk last week and will be hanging at the location all month. You'll see everything from cute to creepy to cool - like this monster painted on a surfboard.
Or this fuzzy, three-dimensional guy.
Pinecone + Chickadee is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
