Who doesn't have a craving for a nice cold beverage on a late-May Thursday? Especially a Thursday that's oh so close to a holiday weekend?
The folks at Madden Beverage in Saco know just how you feel about chilled brews from cool beer companies. That's why they've conveniently scheduled a free tasting featuring Sixpoint Brewing Company today from 3-7 p.m.
Sixpoint was established in 2004 in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y. Out of a dilapidated garage have emerged core brews like Sweet Action, Righteous Ale, Bengali Tiger, The Crisp and Resin, along with seasonals like Harbinger, Apollo and Diesel.
Taste a few with Sixpoint Head Brewer Ian McConnell. And don't forget to bring your ID.
