Bikes are the featured form of transportation in the newest changing exhibit for the Seal Cove Auto Museum in Tremont (that's near Bar Harbor for all you southern Maine folks).

Opening tomorrow is "Bicycles that Paved the Way for Automobiles," which will be on view until Oct. 31. The show features early bicycles, motorcycles and two early autos.
The bicycles include a 1889 Otto, 1898 Columbia model #50, 1893 Ladies Columbia Chainless, circa-1900 Pierce Arrow, and a highwheeler from the 1890s.
There's an opening party Thursday, July 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. with Zip Zamarchi, president of the Maine Wheelmen of Eliot. The public is invited to join in as he shares stories of early bicyclists vacationing in Maine.
The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $5 for adults.
