Sometimes music and cycling go together - like at an awesome after-party when there's a century behind you and a cold beer in front of you.
Sometimes the two don't mesh - like maneuvering through city traffic at rush hour with iPhone ear buds blocking the warning sounds of cars coming from behind.

Bikes and music will go together just fine today when the touring Infamous Stringdusters celebrate their active outdoor lifestyle with a joint event with the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.
The band, which plays an 8 p.m. show at Port City Music Hall, will partner with BCM to lead a leisurely lunchtime bike ride around Portland. Band members, BCM participants, fans, and local outdoor enthusiasts will gather with their bikes at 12:30 p.m. at PCMH for a little exercise and fresh air.
The Infamous Stringdusters are touring in support of their latest double-disc release "Silver Sky-Deluxe Edition." Tickets to tonight's show range from $14 to $25 and can be purchased at www.portcitymusichall.com.
