Plenty of people around the state have done more than their share in advancing the many benefits of cycling. They're the people who work to improve trails, lobby for bike lanes and volunteer their times at biking events so others can ride safely and happily.
If you know someone like that here's your chance to make sure they get their kudos.

Nominations for the Bicycle Coalition of Maine's annual awards are currently open and BCM officials are looking for some help determining who most deserves recognition. Categories are: Community SpokesPerson Award, Jeff Miller Spirit of Cycling Award, Next Generation Award, Just Do It Award, Business for Better Bicycling Award, Muddy Wheel Award, Harry Faust Leadership Award.
Click here to submit your nominee.
Submissions must be filed by Dec. 14 and winners will be announced in the Coalition's Winter 2013 newsletter.
