The Bicycle Coalition of Maine puts on plenty of great events over the course of each year but help is always needed to make sure each ride is successful.

Next up on the BCM calendar is the July 21 Lobster Ride and Roll at Oceanside High School in Rockland. Volunteers are needed beginning the night before the ride (for early registration pickup) through clean up after the event.

If you'd like to lend a hand, go to the BCM's volunteer page and sign up for the job you'd like to do. Options range from being a ride cheerleader (if you happen to have a lobster costume you'd be perfect for this one) to rest stop attendants and kitchen assistants.

And of course every who volunteers gets to enjoy all the day's festivities and a delish lobster roll.
