Tonight's question was: "What three words would you use to describe Twitter?"
"Spastic. Fun. Time-suck." - Chrystie Vachon
"Fast. Furious. Freaky-awesome." - Kristi Trimmer
A gathering of users brought together via Twitter.
A monthly, formally organized Tweetup, Maine Tweetup (#metweetup), has been taking place in Portland for years. I missed the last #metweetup, so I was very happy to to be able to make an appearance last night. #metweetup is a great place to connect in real life (IRL) with people you have only previously been digitally acquainted with, via Twitter, of course. It's also a great way to reconnect with old friends.
I saw some old friends and made some new ones, I took some photos, I asked some questions, and I ate too many little sandwiches. @missbumptious gave me a chocolate bar that involved potato chips. All-in-all it was a very successful evening.
Hope to see you next month! Tweet. Tweet.
"Election. Results. Fast." - Kerry Wyler
"I. Like. Donuts." - Micah Smith
"No. Comment. Maybe?" - Rick Hersom
"No. Wrong. Answers." - Lanna Lee Maheux
"W.T.F." - Jessica Johnson
"Brash. Insight." - Keith Luke
"Erotic. Perverse, Deviant." - Meredith Finn
"News. And. Information." - Lyndsy Shuman
"In. The. Know." - Robert Barnes
Nick Capotosto and Brent Danley @brentdanley
"Best. News. Access." - Nick Capotosto
"Information. Connectedness. Expression." - Brent Danley
