Greetings from Pawtucket, R.I. where Dustin Pedroia will be the DH for the PawSox. Pedroia played second base Saturday night and came through fine.
"Everything we've seen so far, we've been very encouraged," said Pawtucket manager Torey Lovullo. "That's the report I'm giving to Tito (Terry Francona) and the front office staff.
"He played hard. He played well. He played hard. There was nothing wrong with his gait ... Nothing bothered him (Saturday). It was good to see."
Pedroia has never been a DH before. "Just hit and come in (the clubhouse) and chill," Pedroia said before the game, before he went out to sign some autographs.
I'll check back later.
