According to media reports out of New York, Yankees lefty Andy Pettitte will announce his retirement on Friday,
Pettitte's decision leaves New York's starting rotation looking more depleted. C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Phil Hughes are the only sure starters for New York.
Recently, the Yankees signed aging veterans Bartolo Colon and Freddy Garcia.
See the New York Daily News for more on Pettitte.
