Stephen FIfe, Seth Garrison and Blake Maxwell combined for a 5-hit shutout, leading the Portland Sea Dogs to a 2-0 win over the Reading Phillies.
Fife made his first start of the season, allowing three hits and one walk, striking out one. He threw 59 pitches (37 strikes).
Garrison and Maxwell repeated their shutout performance from the opening night on Thursday, both throwing two scoreless frames.
