After a 1-6 road trip, the Portland Sea Dogs (9-15) look for some victories at home, starting with a 6 p.m. game tonight against the New Britain Rock Cats.

One Portland player who is exceeding is left fielder Alex Hassan. But the Eastern League decided on power today when it named its Player of the Month for April - Cody Overbeck of Reading.

Overbeck had a good month, no doubt: .321, 4 doubles, six home runs, 20 RBI, 5 walks, .945 OPS

Hassan's April numbers: .411, 6 doubles, 1 home run, 14 RBI, 12 walks, 1.028 OPS.

Here are the Red Sox and Sea Dogs lineups for tonight:

Boston: Ellsbury CF; Pedroia; Gonzalez 1B; Youkilis 3B; Ortiz DH; Drew RF; Lowrie SS; Crawford LF; Saltalamacchia C. (Wakefield P).

Portland: Lin CF; Hee SS; Hassan LF; Lavarnway DH; Middlebrooks 3B; Padron 1B; Tejeda 2B; Vazquez C; Dening RF. Lee P.

Catcher Tim Federowicz is getting the day off ... shortstop Ryan Dent remains on the disabled list.
