The Portland Sea Dogs are back at Hadlock Field, sporting a 11-23 record, the worst start after 34 games in franchise history.
The weather is damp but they will do everything they can to get this game in. This is Reading's last trip to Portland.
One roster move: Miguel Gonzalez, who was just promoted from Salem, has been moved up to Triple-A Pawtucket. Replacing him is lefty Cesar Cabral. He had a 1.62 ERA in 12 outings with Salem.
Here are the Red Sox and Sea Dogs lineups:
BOSTON: Ellsbury, Pedroia, Gonzalez, Youkilis, Ortiz, Lowrie, Cameron, Saltalamacchia, McDonald. Wakefield.
PORTLAND: Lin CF, Hassan LF, Lavarnway DH, Federowicz C, Middlebrooks 3B, Padron 1B, Tejeda 2B, Hee SS, Dening RF. Fife P.
