Che-Hsuan Lin, in his third day since coming back from a wrist injury, went 3-for-5 with 5 RBI for Pawtucket. He is batting .292.
Another Pawtucket player who began the year in Portland, Ryan Lavarnway, hit two doubles to up his average to .361.
Kyle Weiland (3.33) started for Pawtucket: 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 1 K ... Blake Maxwell (2.81) pitched the final 2 innings: 3 H 1 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 0 K.
Stolmy Pimentel still shows some good stuff, but not enough of it, and without results. He went 3 innings for Portland in New Hampshire: 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 2 K.
"There were some good things there," Portland manager Kevin Boles said in today's Press Herald story.
But for a pitcher on the 40-man roster ... the clock is ticking on Pimentel's development.
And the Miles Head story continues in Greenville. The first baseman, batting .343, hit his 15th home run on Friday.
