The Scottsdale Scorpions, coached by former Sea Dogs manager Arnie Beyeler, won a 2-0 game Tuesday in the Arizona Fall League, with the help of plenty of Portland Sea Dogs.
Brock Huntzinger started and pitched four scoreless innings (4 H, 0 BB, 3 K). Caleb Clay pitched an inning of relief (1 H, 1 BB). Clay's ERA is now 1.46.
Wil Latimer also relieved, pitching 1 1/3 innings (1 BB).
Alex Hassan went 2-for-3 and is now batting .271. Catcher Dan Butler (.378) went 2-for-4. Ryan Dent went 0-for-4 and is batting .250.
