Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports is reporting that Dale Sveum will be one of two manager candidates meeting with Red Sox ownership this week.
Sveum, who was the Red Sox third base coach from 2004 to '05, is currently the Milwaukee Brewers hitting coach.
Sveum is also a candidate for the Cubs job.
Besides Sveum, the Red Sox have interviewed four others for the job: Pete Mackanin, Sandy Alomar Jr., Torey Lovullo and Gene Lamont.
