The Red Sox, conducting their annual off-season promotional tours, are coming to Maine Friday.
Catcher Ryan Lavarnway and former pitcher Bob Stanley will appear at the L.L. Bean campus in Freeport. The 2004 World Series trophy and Wally the Red Sox mascot will also be there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Stanley will be there until 12:30 p.m.).
Among the other promotions are a voucher give-away for four tickets to a Red Sox game, and a singing talent competition. involving the National Anthem. The winner will sing at Fenway Park.
The event will be in the Discovery lobby of the main store.
