Boston, Pawtucket and Portland all enjoyed comeback wins Saturday, with Jarrod Saltalamacchia providing the most drama with his 2-run HR in the bottom of the ninth.
Pawtucket featured Daisuke Matsuzaka re-starting his rehab assignment, and looking good: 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K ... Junichi Tazawa vultured the win with his worst outing: 2 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 1 BB, 2 K ... Mark Melancon (0.53) continues to deal: 1 IP & zeroes ... Ryan Lavarnway hit his third home run.
Anthony Ranaudo said he had average stuff, but it was enough for a quality start: 6 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 5 BB, 4 K ... Juan Carlos Linares (.317) went 2-for-4 and had a walk-off RBI double.
Ryan Kalish showed up on Salem roster and jumped right into competition: 2-4 with a HR ... Jackie Bradley (.367/.497 OBP) went 2-for-4 ... Travis Shaw (.342) hit his second home run.
We've talked about the solid year that third baseman Garrin Cecchini is having with Greenville. He went 5-for-6 to up his average to .310.
