PORTLAND — Greetings from a wet Hadlock Field, where the Portland Sea Dogs are hoping to get in their doubleheader tonight, starting at 6 p.m. (Getting in a least one game would be good, since the two teams meet only two more times this year - Wednesday and Thursday).

The lineups are below.

Drake Britton (4-5, 3.69) gets the start for Portland. he has allowed only one earned run total in his last three starts. Britton's last outing was a one-hitter over eight innings. He keeps this up, he'll be in Pawtucket soon.

The Red Sox, as expected, made a move for a fresh arm, before the 7 p.m. game with the Rays. Boston put Clayton Mortensen on the disabled list ("hip impingement") and reliever Jose De La Torre was called up from Pawtucket. He might be with Boston for only a day since starter Alfredo Aceves is expected to be brought up Wednesday.

A deep start by Jon Lester would do wonders for the bullpen.

Now for the lineups:

Shannon Wilkerson CF
Xander Bogaerts SS
Michael Almanzar 3B
Juan Carlos Linares RF
Tony Thomas DH
Travis Shaw 1B
Matt Spring C
Peter Hissey LF
Heiker Meneses 2B

Jacoby Ellsbury CF
Daniel Nava RF
Dustin Pedroia 2B
David Ortiz DH
Mike Napoli 1B
Daniel Nava LF
Stephen Drew SS
David Ross C
Jose Iglesias 3B
(Jon Lester P)
