The Red Sox made another move Friday, adding veteran left-handed reliever Scott Schoeneweis to the roster after his recent release from the Milwaukee Brewers. he was signed to a minor league contract.
Schoeneweis, 36, pitched 7 innings in spring training, allowing 7 hits and 6 runs. He pitched for Arizona last year, compiling a 7.13 ERA in 45 games. His 2008 ERA was 3.34 with the Mets. Left-handers are batting a career .276 against him.
