Lars Anderson hit his fourth home run Thursday night, helping the Sea Dogs to a 3-2 win over Trenton, in New Jersey. Anderson (.292) continues his hot start to 2010.
Ray Chang also homered for Portland, and Ryan Kalish had a sacrifice fly.
Eammon Portice, who normally follows Casey Kelly, got a start of his own and pitched five innings (3 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K). Robert Coello got the win in relief (3 IP, 1 BB, 5 K). Bryce Cox got the save (1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 1 K).
Pawtucket's Daniel Nava (.292) is starting to get going with two hits ... Matt Sheely, recently called up from Portland, also had two hits.
Salem catcher Ryan Lavarnway (.408) hit his fourth home run.
Greenville catcher Dan Butler (.235) hit two home runs.
