Greetings from Manchester, N.H. Finally going to see the Dogs play again. Portland manager Arnie Beyeler just confirmed that outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is indeed coming to Portland on Tuesday to continue his rehab (he plays in Pawtucket on Monday).
In Detroit, second baseman Dustin Pedroia is not in the lineup, reportedly because of a sore knee.
Here are the Sox and Dogs lineups for today:
BOSTON: Scutaro 2B; Hermida LF; Drew RF; Youkilis 1B; Ortiz DH; Lowell 3B; Varitek C; Hall 2B; Van Every CF; (Lackey P)
PORTLAND: Spears 2B; Lin CF; Kalish RF; Exposito C; Rizzo 1B; Chang 3B; Navarro DH; Iglesias SS; Chiang LF; (Fife P)
I'll check in later
