There is a reason why we said Mike Cameron was "scheduled" to be at Hadlock today. Schedules change. Cameron will not be playing with the Sea Dogs tonight (if they play at all), a decision probably helped by the wet weather.
You don't want someone recovering from an abdominal tear to come out and slip around.
The word is that Cameron will be here for Thursday's noon game. Let's just say he's scheduled to be here.
As for Jacoby Ellsbury, no word yet on if he is coming back to Portland or if he's ready to be activated.
The rain has stopped here at Hadlock. The only question is if more is on the way. The Sea Dogs are not sure, so the game is on for now.
Here's the Sea Dogs lineup:
Spears 2B; Lin CF; Kalish RF; Exposito C; Rizzo 1B; Chang DH; Navarro 3B; Iglesias SS; Chiang LF; (Miller P)
I'll be back.
