Mike Cameron came up with two runners on and no outs in the second inning. D.J. Mitchell threw him mostly off-speed pitches and struck him out, swinging at a hard curve.
Kelly settled down a bit in the second, pitching a 1-2-3 inning with a called strikeout.
The Sea Dogs tied it with two runs in the second (including a Jose Iglesias RBI single).
