Portland Sea Dogs shortstop Jose Iglesias just left the game in the second inning after being hit on the right hand with a pitch (Iglesias actually swung at the pitch so a new hitter came to bat in his place).
Iglesias dropped down in obvious pain. He walked off the field with trainer Paul Bucheit holding his right hand.
We hope to have an update on his condition after the game, at the very latest.
Yamaico Navarro stepped in for Iglesias and, with the count already 0-2, struck out.
Portland and New Britain are in a 0-0 in the top of the third.
Here is Portland's adjusted lineup: Spears 2B; Lin CF; Kalish RF; Exposito C; Rizzo 1B; Chang 3B; Navarro SS; Chiang LF; Vazquez DH; (Miller P)
