Jose Iglesias will have an X-ray taken of his bruised right hand on Sunday, when the swelling has gone down, according to Sea Dogs manager Arnie Beyeler said.
Iglesias was hit on the knuckles by a pitch in the second inning today.
"They (the trainers) don't think anything is fractured right now," Beyeler said. "But when you're dealing with the fingers ... we'll get it looked at tomorrow and go from there."
Iglesias is leading the Sea Dogs with a .306 average, but Portland managed without him Saturday in an 11-3 win over New Britain.
Ryan Kalish paced the 17-hit onslaught with a 5-for-5 day, including a solo home run and a two-run double. He is now batting .282.
