The Portland Sea Dogs announced that Salem long reliever Jeremy Kehrt will re-join Portland and start tonight's game in Trenton. Kehrt, 24, made one other spot start for the Sea Dogs, in a 3-2 loss to Trenton on May 22. That game was part of a doubleheader and Kehrt helped save the bullpen that day, going five innings (6 H, 3 R, 3 K).
The Sea Dogs also officially announced the addition of utility infielder Ryan Khoury from Pawtucket.
With Ryan Kalish promoted to Pawtucket, the Sea Dogs have only three outfielders - Che-Hsuan Lin, Chih-Hsien Chiang and Matt Sheely. Lin left Sunday's game with back spasms. If Lin cannot go tonight, the nod will possibly go to all-around utility player Will Vazquez.
Khoury will help bolster an infield that is missing shortstop Jose Iglesias, out with a deeply bruised right hand.
