The game has started here at Fenway. I'd have checked in sooner, but the boss called with a new assignment (has something to do with that near-perfect game in Detroit Wednesday night. Maybe you heard about it).
Anyway, here is the Sox lineup. Mike Lowell is the DH against the lefty Brett Anderson. J.D. Drew gets the day off so we have a trio of back-ups in the outfield - Jeremy Hermida, Darnell McDonald and Bill Hall.
The lineup: Scutaro SS; Pedroia 2B; Martinez C; Youkilis 1B; Beltre 3B; Lowell DH; McDonald CF; Hall RF; Hermida LF (Wakefield P).
It's 1-1 already. Sox scored with two outs in the first on singles by Martinez, Youkilis and Beltre. Kurt Suzuki led off the top of the second with a home run.
