Jose Iglesias had the bone bruise in his right hand re-examined in Boston today and said a small "crack" was discovered. The treatment remains the same, but the re-examination helps explain why Iglesias has been slow to heal. he said he could be out three more weeks.
Sea Dogs manager Arnie Beyeler said they will take it week by week but, yes, Iglesias could be out a while.
Iglesias is back in Portland and took grounders during batting practice. He flipped the ball to a teammate with his glove.

The news out of Boston is that the Red Sox officially announced that Felix Doubront will start on Friday (also known as "Manny Circus" day).
