It is a formula for success - solid starting pitching, then handing it over to Daniel Bard (1 1/3 IP, 1 H, 1 K) and Jonathan Papelbon (1 IP, 1 K).

Pawtucket's game was suspended in the sixth inning because of rain. Bubba Bell (.283) was 2-for-2 with his third HR.
Salem's Stolmy Pimentel (3.61 ERA) was solid in a loss: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 3 K.
Greenville 1B/DH Chris McGuiness (.291) was 4-for-5.
