Boston starter Jon Lester: 6 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K.
Pawtucket starter Robert Coello: 5 2/3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 10 K
Portland starter Alex Wilson: 5 2/3 IP, 5 H 1 R, 2 BB, 4 K
On Coello won as he didn't his roll through Triple-A (0.73 ERA).
Both the Red Sox and Sea Dogs got only one run (Portland's on a Luis Exposito home run) ... Pawtucket's Bubba Bell also homered ... The PawSox also got relief from recently-promoted Tommy Hottovy (1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 0 K).
Daniel Barbarisi of the Providence Journal has a superb story today on Rhode Island native and Red Sox prospect Ryan Westmoreland, and his long-road ahead after brain surgery.
