Here at Hadlock Field, the hard-luck Casey Kelly may pick up his second win if the Sea Dogs' bullpen holds the lead.
Kelly went 5 2/3 innings today, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk. He struck out two.
Portland leads 6-2. Anthony Rizzo hit his ninth home run, and Ray Chang hit his sixth.
Meanwhile, in Pawtucket, Josh Beckett continues on the rehab path with a start in Pawtucket. He went four innings and gave up one run on two hits and no walks. He struck out four. Jason Botts hit a two-out homer off Beckett in the fourth.
Michael Bowden was the second reliever in. He pitched a 1-2-3 inning with one strikeout.Tweet
